Today is Grandma's birthday, April 8, 1894
I can still recall the smell of the sand tarts she baked when I was a kid.
....and the grandfather clock circa 1973.
Grandma passed away in June of 1978

A virtual scrapbook with plenty of loose pages.
If there's a universal mind, must it be sane?
A door just opened on a street --
I, lost, was passing by--
An instant's width of warmth disclosed,
And wealth, and company.
The door as sudden shut, and I,
I, lost, was passing by,--
Lost doubly, but by contrast most,
Enlightening misery.
LostBob,
ReplyDeleteWe met today at the Burnside bridge. I have to say, I really like many of the photos in your Flickr gallery. I hope the rest of your visit to Antietam yielded some great photos (maybe even that blue heron you were talking about).

Thanks. I did get a few shots of the Heron as you can see in my post of a few minutes ago.
